Tiny Club
The “Tiny Club” is the playful art studio I created from a run-down vintage garage for my grandchildren. Not wanting my especially petite granddaughter to feel less-than, I decided to invent the “Tiny Club”, especially for little people! Tiny Club meetings involve art projects, reading books, learning about nature, and always include a variety of cookies!

The goal was to remodel this unused, dark garage into a functional, fun space that the children and I could enjoy for years to come on weekends or after school. By removing a flat dry ceiling, adding a loft and dormers, and opening a wall with sliding barn doors and also adding a deck, a dramatic change was made to the feel and use of the space. Bright colors and practical fabrics with ladybug trim, now delight one's senses against the all-white background. To ensure that the limited interior space was not diminished with an interior staircase, outside access was provided to the reading and meeting loft above. This journey up to an elevated deck, around a tree, and thru tiny Dutch doors, provides an additional sense of adventure and fun for “Tiny Club” and it’s amazing tiny people!
