A project from 20 years ago; this warm textural home was created for an active family with pets and lots of visitors. We began with strong vibrant rugs that complimented the honey tones of the woodwork, then used gold as a neutral for upholstery and draperies. The living room opens to the entry, dining, office, and family room, so all the spaces needed to flow. Each piece of furniture was selected for its art-like quality and uniqueness and does not conflict with the owner’s beautiful artwork, photos, and collections which make it so personal. This space reflects our client; warm, inviting, casual, interesting, and sophisticated. We won a Design Excellence award for this project.
